Assisted setup¶
Assisted setup helps you set up basic settings. It is recommended to run assisted setup and then continue with manual setup for further tweaking. Assisted setup consists of Base setup and Work setup.
Base setup¶
Work registration - Base setup is common for all Work Registration family of apps by Navertica. Default values are set during installation, but you can change these by running the wizard again.
Work Registration - Base assisted setup step-by-step guide
1. Open the Assisted setup dialog via a settings button in the main toolbar.
2. Select Set up Work Registration (Base).

If this wizard was completed before, you will be notified if you want to run this wizard again. "Yes" overwrites the already set values, "No" exits the wizard.
3. On the welcome screen, click Next.
4. Fill desired values.

5. Finish the base setup.
Congratulations! Now let's continue with the Work setup wizard.
Work setup¶
Work Registration - Work setup is applied to this app only and should be done after installation via Assisted setup. It is recommended to complete this setup before proceeding with manual setup.
Work Registration - Work assisted setup step-by-step guide
1. Select Set up Work Registration (Work).

Once this wizard has been completed, you will be notified if you want to run this wizard again. "Yes" overwrites the already filled values, "No" exits the wizard.
2. On the welcome screen, click next.
3. Choose your preferred options and then click next.

4. Click Work Types.
5. Set up your Work types.
This table defines all work types that employees can register their work into. After seting up the table, press Escape to continue the wizard.
6. Click Next to proceed.
7. Click Employee groups.
8. Set up your Employee groups.
This sets up groups of employees to which employees can be assigned into. After setting up the table, press Escape to continue the wizard.
9. Click Next to proceed.
10. Click Employees card ID.
11. Set up your Employees Card ID.
This table defines ID cards, to which can users be assigned.
After setting all data, click escape to save it and to continue the wizard.
12. Click Next to proceed.
13. Click Rules for Users Setup
14. Set up Rules for Users.
Set up your preferred settings for users. After filling the table, press Escape to get back to the wizard.
15. Click Next to proceed.
16. Finish the wizard.
Congratulations! You completed both wizards. Click Finish to end the wizard.
Manual Setup¶
Manual setup is accessible via Work Registration Menu.

Allows you to manually set up or change basic settings.
Work Units of Measure setup

Define, what units of measure you want to use. You can set up rounding precision in Work registration manual setup.
Employee groups setup
Employee groups setup¶
Create employee groups and then assign employees to them. Assigning employees to employee groups is also possible in Employees card ID manual setup. You can customize various permissions and other settings for Employee groups in Rules for users manual setup.

Create new Card IDs and assign your employee to it. Employees will use this ID number to log in.
Rules for Users setup
Rules for Users setup¶
Define permissions and various settings to your Users and Employee groups. Use this setting to manage what they can and can not do.
The sctrictest combination of rules and filters is always applied.
Work Types setup
Work Types setup¶
Defines, what types of work can employees register their time into. All Work Types used in Work Registration - Work must have Activity type set to Work.
Work types can be used only if a barcode is defined.

Specifies sources of used Barcodes. Used to check the uniqueness of barcodess across the system.
This is set up automatically during installation. Changing this setting is not recommended.
Journal Templates
Journal Templates¶
Set up and manage Journal templates. Specify, what templates are used in Work Registration Worksheet, Cancel Workstheet etc.
Role Center Setup¶
To run Stationary terminal or Mobile terminal, you have to set appropriate role center for terminal users.
Stationary and Mobile Work Registration terminals will work only for users with properly set Role center ID.
New profile and permission set NVR WRB WORK REGISTRATION with Role Center ID 4070290 is created during installation.
