Managing User Assignments¶
Per User and Per Authorized User licenses require assignment to specific users. Each user who needs to use licensed features must have a license seat assigned.
Opening User Management¶
There are two ways to access user assignment management:
From the Buy License Section¶
- On the Navertica Licensing page, select the desired Per User license in the Buy License section
- Click the Manage User Assignments action in the top action bar
From the Active Subscriptions Section¶
- On the Navertica Licensing page, select the desired Per User subscription in the Active Subscriptions section
- Click the Manage User Assignments action
License User Assignments Page¶
The page displays:
License Information¶

| Subscription Qty | Total number of purchased license seats |
| Assigned Users | Number of currently assigned users |
| Remaining Seats | Number of available license seats (negative value indicates over-assignment) |
Assigned Users List¶
| Field | Description |

| Assigned Date | Date the license was assigned |
| Reassignable After | Date after which the seat can be reassigned to another user |
| Can Be Reassigned | Whether the seat can currently be reassigned |
Assigning a User¶
- Click the Assign User action in the top action bar
- A list of available Business Central users will appear
- Select the user you want to assign the license to
- Upon confirmation, the user will be added to the assigned list
Limitation
You can only assign a user if there are available license seats (Remaining Seats > 0).
Unassigning a User¶
- Select the user in the assigned list
- Click the Unassign User action
- Confirm the unassignment
90-Day Reassignment Lock
After assigning a license to a user, this seat cannot be reassigned to another user for 90 days. The Reassignable After column shows the date when reassignment becomes available. The Can Be Reassigned column indicates whether reassignment is currently allowed.
Example¶
You have a Per User license with a purchased quantity of 5. This means:
- You can assign the license to a maximum of 5 users
- If you unassign a user, you must wait 90 days from the original assignment date before the seat can be assigned to someone else
- If you need more seats, purchase additional quantity through buying a license
