Use Of Maintenance

Within the maintenance module, individual maintenance cards are the basis for setting up - they are presented as service items within the standard BC. Each maintenance card contains settings that contain parameters for creating periodic maintenance orders - such as checks, revisions, adjustments, etc. Using periodic batch, the user starts generating maintenance orders. These are processed and recorded in the history of the equipment and lead to subsequent determination of the date of further maintenance. Most functions are located in the Maintenance menu of Maintenance Manager Profile or standard Service Processing menu.

Note

There are also separate enhancements of Maintenance Service Items for specific usage:

- Tools

- Gauges

- Molds

Maintenance Items

The service item card is available in the planning menu. The card is based on the number in the number sequence and contains mainly the field of the standard service item card.

The part of Enhanced module:

Depending on the Type field you select, the form is further edited and possibly expands the list of values in separate tabs for example: tool, mold and gauge (separate extension)

Maintenance includes the Lines section in addition to the standard Service Item card:

  • Line Number - A sequence number for a record that does not affect functionality

  • Standard service code - contains a link to the code and then the settings for newly created orders

  • Description - maintenance description

  • Fault reason code - Input statistical code for maintenance order

  • Startup Condition Type - refers to preset templates to complement subsequent parameters

  • Condition type - Type of trigger condition of subsequent order (time, other - Meter, combined)

  • Next Calc. Method - method for determining the next maintenance term

    • Planned - the subsequent maintenance date is given by a fixed deadline

    • Actual - the term is given by a fixed time from previous maintenance

  • Time interval - time length between maintenance

  • Last maintenance date - recorded previous maintenance date (added when posting the order according to compliance with the subject of maintenance and the type of service order)

  • Next maintenance date - calculated date for further maintenance

  • Date of next generation of the service order - calculated date of further maintenance including offsetting time of notification

  • Next Generation SO Date - The date when real generation of service order will be started

  • Other interval - calculation of the next maintenance order according to the achievement of the power value of the Meter

  • Unit of Measure Code - Standard Measure Code

  • Meter code - connected Meter code for the calculation of subsequent maintenance

  • Last Meter status (maintenance) - informative field for displaying the status of the previous maintenance Meter

  • Quantity to maintenance - quantity to next generation of maintenance order based on meter

  • Lead time - estimated length of maintenance order processing (equipment shutdown)

  • Lead Time Unit Code - Order Unit

  • Service order exists - informs the user of the existence of an already created and unfinished maintenance order

  • Closing date - date of disposal/termination of the maintenance item

  • Locked - Locked for Write. Only the locked line can be processed into a maintenance order

Generating Maintenance Orders

If the setup is ready on the maintenance cards, we run periodically batch - Generating maintenance orders from Periodic activities or directly from the card from the maintenance subject then to prepare Maintenance Orders

The batch contains the following settings that affect the scope of orders created:

  • Proposal type - Planning/Exceptional, ensures processing according to set parameters or exceptionally creates a order

  • Date from - filter to verify the earliest time date for creating the order

  • Date to - Filter for the latest date to create a maintenance order

  • Earliest date of serv.order - start date on which the order is created

  • Resource No. - Resource that is assigned to the order

  • Repair Status Code - Preset Status That Is Assigned to Order

  • Generation more planned Serv. orders - allows you to generate subsequent planned orders according to the time setting in the case of a sufficiently wide defined period (Date from, to)

  • Send notification e-mails - in case of creation of the order, an e-mail is sent according to the assigned source

  • Plan according to the resource capacity - according to the capacity of the allocated resource, the dates of individual orders are proposed. In case of capacity overload, it is planned for the following day.

  • Test - batch creates an inventory of orders without creating them

  • Print not generated task lines - also displays maintenance items for which no order will be created

Maintenance Order

If a maintenance order has been created (identical functionally to a service order), a header containing customer information, billing and delivery information is automatically added to it. The maintenance item code is then added to the line from the source maintenance card - marked next as Service Item No. Automatically supplemented data especially fault codes can be further changed according to the desired condition. The custom maintenance binding is tied to the order line and the data is not necessary for the user. The maintenance order must be generated by the system.

According to the set-up procedure, the technological procedure Standard Service Code is added, which contains Resources for work performed or items for consumed material.

The routing is converted to the Service Item Worksheet using the Create Service Lines feature, where it is then adjusted according to the reality.

The next procedure for finishing the order is part of the standard service order processing training.

If maintenance is associated with Meter reading, you must record and post a Meter journal that updates the Meter end state.

Records And History

After the service order is posted, a service shipment, invoice, or consumption is created according to the setup. At the same time, entries are created for each document on the maintenance card - creating a history.

The maintenance line updates the last maintenance data and schedules the next date:
