Overview¶

The Navertica Handling Units application is used to control movements of goods using Handling Units (HU). Thanks to this application, items can be inserted (assigned) into units, which can then be handled in the system as a unit.

Application functions¶

Intuitive control of the process of insertion into HU and use from HU¶

You insert the goods into the handling unit and then remove them (use) using the table of handling units. This simple and intuitive tool also allows you to easily assign to or create a new HU.

HU settings¶

You can set the handling units in the following ways:

• Define HU types.

  • Setting of forced homogeneity of goods, batches, expiration

  • Closing HU after emptying

  • Different number series for different types of HU

  • Define if the type designated for picking

  • Force pick of the entire unit

• Do not allow Handling units on location

• HU type setting on the Item card

List of Handling Units¶

Handling units can be easily managed from the Handling Units list. Individual units, their content, assigned items or documents can be displayed. The application also enables you to print a label for a given HU.

Handling Unit Card¶

The handling unit card provides all the necessary information and allows, among other things, to change the Status, Quality, Description, or to close the HU.

Handling Unit Journal¶

The Handling Unit Journal allows basic operations with HU - Insertion, Move, Transfer, Relabel and Merge.
