EDI Mapping Setup

The primary configuration related to the management of the Anvaigo EDI Extension is EDI Mapping, which is available from the EDI Mapping List.

From the displayed list, the user selects the row with the required Project Code.

Automatic Reservation Parameter Setup

To configure the parameters for automatic reservation creation, the user first selects the relevant process line in the EDI Mapping. The user then opens the line’s context menu (ellipsis icon ) and selects the Properties action.

In the line properties dialog, parameters are defined that determine whether and under which conditions automatic reservation of sales lines will be performed after the EDI document is processed.

Automatic Reservation Trigger Condition Setup

In the Properties window, the user selects the Condition field and clicks on its value. The condition NVR.SalesAutoReserve** is set in this field and determines whether the automatic reservation process will be triggered after the EDI document is processed.

This condition acts as a control mechanism for enabling or disabling automatic reservation within the EDI processing flow. If the condition is met, the system evaluates item availability after the sales lines are created from the EDI document and performs the reservation according to standard Business Central rules. If the condition is not met, the reservation is not created.

To review or update the condition values, the value editor must be opened using the ellipsis icon ().

With these conditions configured, the automatic reservation functionality is ready for use.
