Installing Apps from AppSource¶
There are two installation options:
Installation directly from Business Central¶
In Business Central, search for Microsoft AppSource apps using an account with super permissions.
On the Microsoft AppSource apps page, search for the application you want to install and open its card.
The App Overview window will open. In that window, click on the Install App action.
A new Install Extension window will open. In that window, click on the Install button.
After a while, the app will be installed in your environment and if the app contains assisted setup, it may start.
Installation through AppSource portal¶
Open the AppSource portal and find the application you want to install.
For the application you selected, click Free trial or Get it now.
Sign in to BC using an account with super permissions.
A window will open for confirming details. To confirm, click Free trial or Get it now.
After confirmation, you will be redirected to Business Central, where you select which environment the app should be installed in and confirm the installation by clicking the Install button.
A new Install Extension window will open. In that window, click on the Install button.
After a while, the app will be installed in your environment and if the app contains assisted setup, it may start.
